§ Mr. GodberNo action has been taken since October, 1962, when the question of Chinese representation was discussed in the United Nations General Assembly. The British delegate then voted in favour of the Soviet draft resolution that a representative of the People's Republic of China be seated in the United Nations and the Nationalist representative removed. The Soviet draft resolution was defeated by 56 votes to 42.
