30. Brigadier Clarke

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will give an estimate of the total cost to public funds of the recent Aldermaston march.

Mr. Brooke

Additional expenditure was incurred by the police as a result of this march, but I regret that it would be difficult to estimate its amount.

31. Brigadier Clarke

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will state the total cost to public funds incurred by the activities of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament organisation to date, including the recent Aldermaston march.
