§ Mr. ThorneycroftI can assure my hon. Friend that there has been no change in the policy of Her Majesty's Government in this matter since it was stated by my hon. Friend the Joint Under-Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs on 31st October, 1962 (O.R. Col. 286). Proposals for the export of military equipment to South Africa, as to other countries, will continue to be considered on their merits.
