§ Mr. RipponThe sum of £72,000 in the 1963–64 Estimates is a provisional figure for the cost of reconstructing a block of accommodation in Stable Yard, which is part of the historic buildings of St. James's Palace, in order to provide offices for Departments of the Royal Household under the control of the Lord Chamberlain. The existing accommodation is structurally unsound.
