§ Mr. Warbeyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will take steps to collect information about the number of letters from prisoners to Members of Parliament which were stopped during 1962 under Standing Order 5(c) or for any other reason, and make the information available to hon. Members.
§ Mr. BrookeTo collect this information would necessitate a special scrutiny of the record of every prisoner in prison during 1962 and would entail much extra work for prison staffs which I do not think would be justified.
