§ The Attorney-GeneralBy the provisions of the Tribunals of Inquiry (Evidence) Act, 1921, a witness is under the same duty of answering lawful questions as if he were a witness in the ordinary courts. I do not intend to seek either to alter the general rules of evidence, or to provide special exception under the Act, in relation to the duty to tell the whole truth about sources of information on those occasions when this is relevant and necessary.
