Hurdasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will arrange to publish a month in advance the projected arrivals of chilled and frozen beef and lamb so that farmers and the meat trade may know what to expect and the public may be assured that a proper check is being exerted on imported supplies to avoid the home market being undermined.
§ Mr. SoamesInformation on shipping schedules of chilled and frozen meat from the Commonwealth and South America 71W is already published in sections of the Trade Press. My Department produces a weekly summary of these forecast arrivals for up to six weeks ahead, which can be made available to the Press or other interested bodies.
