asked the Minister of Lbour whether he has now come to a decision on the International Labour Organisation's recommendation that he should arrange for an inquiry into the complaint made by the National Union of Bank Employees to the International Labour Organisation.

I have decided to appoint the Honourable Lord Cameron, D.S.C., to conduct an Inquiry with the following terms of referenceto inquire into the complaint made by the National Union of Bank Employees on 12th March, 1962, to the Freedom of Association Committee of the International Labour Organisation and to report,

To assist Lord Cameron, I intend to appoint three assessors, one to be nominated by the Central Council of Bank Staff Associations, one by the Committee of London Clearing Bankers, and one by the National Union of Bank Employees.
