HC Deb 25 October 1962 vol 664 c220W
Mr. Roy Jenkins

asked the Minister of Transport when he will inform the Birmingham Corporation that work may be started on the widening of the railway bridge over Albert Road, Stechford, which was approved in principle in August, 1958.

Mr. Marples

Birmingham Corporation has been told that we axe prepared to consider an application for grant towards the cost of this scheme in the current financial year. I await its firm proposals, which will include a new railway bridge to be designed by the British Transport Commission.
