§ 71. Mr. Morrisasked the Minister of Transport what steps he has taken, following the recommendations of the Transport Users' Consultative Committee for Wales and Monmouthshire, as regards the railway lines in Wales.
§ Mr. HayMy right hon. Friend has accepted 10 of the 11 recommendations the Committee have made to him this year under the Transport Acts, 1947 to 1953, in respect of the British Transport Commission's proposals to withdraw rail services. He is still considering the remaining recommendation and the one report on hardship they have so far made under S.56 of the 1962 Act.
