HC Deb 27 November 1962 vol 668 c38W
Q16. Mr. Mayhew

asked the Prime Minister if he will make representations to Mr. Khrushchev personally regarding the treatment of Mr. Greville Wynne by the Hungarian and Russian authorities.

The Prime Minister

Her Majesty's Government will, of course, pursue this matter in whatever way may be necessary and appropriate. But our views have been made abundantly clear to the Soviet and Hungarian Governments and we are looking to them now to provide us with normal information and facilities.
