§ Mr. Scott-HopkinsThe use of pesticides in agriculture was investigated recently by the Research Study Group whose Report is in the Library, and I do not consider that any further inquiry is necessary at the present time. The Food Standards Committee is reviewing the use of additives for colouring and is investigating the use of additives for flavouring food. I expect to receive its reports on these subjects next year.
