HC Deb 21 November 1962 vol 667 c138W
Mr. Jennings

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what proposals the Trent River Board has now made with regard to improvement of the River Trent at Burton-on-Trent; and what will be the cost.

Mr. Scott-Hopkins

I have been asked to reply.

The Trent River Board has not yet submitted proposals to my Department. I understand, however, that it has discussed with representatives of Burton-on-Trent Corporation a scheme for the improvement of the River Trent at Burton-on-Trent. The scheme is estimated to cost £110,000.
