§ Mr. RipponConsultations are at present proceeding between my Department and the local planning authority, the London County Council, about the form which a building erected on this site for the Post Office might take. Until these consultations are completed it is not possible to give an answer to my hon. Friend's specific Question. I have well in mind that the form of this building, and its height, must be carefully considered in relation to St. Paul's Cathedral.
