asked the Minister of Power what the average price of domestic coal delivered to the householder was prior to nationalisation, and what it is today.

Mr. Peyton

The present average retail price of house coal, which is higher in winter than in summer, is estimated at about £10 10s. 0d. per ton or two-anda-half times as much as it was immediately before nationalisation.
