HC Deb 15 November 1962 vol 667 cc71-2W
64. Mr. Parker

asked the Minister of Labour what steps he is taking to avoid an official strike at Ford's, Dagenham.

Mr. Hare

My officers have had discussions with representatives of the company and of the unions. The strike has now been postponed in order to permit further discussions between the unions and the company. I am continuing to keep in close touch with developments.
