§ 57. Mr. Warbeyasked the Minister of Transport what provision is made in the tenders invited for the Whetstone-Markfield section of the London-Yorkshire motorway for the construction of suitable connecting links with convenient roads to Nottingham, Derby and the North.
§ Mr. MarplesThe motorway contract provides for a junction with the A.50 at Markfield. From this point the local roads, some of which have been or are to be improved, will provide suitable connecting links until the motorway is extended to join the A.6 at Lockington.
