Mr. Gresham Cookeasked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will arrange for his departmental inquiry into resale price maintenance to give full consideration to the judgment of the Restrictive Practices Court approving resale price maintenance in the book trade before concluding their review of this subject; and whether he will consider the implications of this judgment before Her Majesty's Government comes to a decision with regard to the future of resale price maintenance in any trades in this country.
