§ Mr. Boydenasked the President of the Board of Trade how many boys and girls aged 15 to 18 years in his Department are currently attending day release classes; and what proportion this forms of the total number of juveniles in the Department.
§ Mr. Erroll233 boys and girls aged 15 to 18 years, representing 95 per cent of the staff of my Department in this age group, are at present attending day continuation classes under day release arrangements.
It is my policy to ensure that all juvenile staff in the Board of Trade attend these classes. Exceptions are made only to meet abnormal circumstances.
