§ Mr. C. Johnsonasked the Lord Privy Seal what contribution Her Majesty's Government propose to make to the World Food Programme of the Food and Agriculture Organisation.
§ Mr. P. ThomasAt the Pledging Conference for the World Food Programme, which was held in New York on 5th September, the United Kingdom delegate announced a pledge of 5 million dollars on behalf of Her Majesty's Government. Half of this contribution will be in the form of food and half in the form of cash for shipping services, and it will be spread over the three years of the programme.
