§ 73. Sir W. Wakefieldasked the Minister of Transport if he is now in a position to announce the results of the experience obtained arising from the heavier summer traffic conditions during the one-way traffic experiment in Baker Street and Gloucester Place, St. Marylebone.
§ Mr. MarplesI still have this experiment under review. The initial substan- 73W tial traffic improvement has been maintained. St. Marylebone Borough Council has asked for the scheme to continues as an experiment until it has experience of the additional pedestrian facilities which are to be provided. I have agreed to this.
