HC Deb 05 November 1962 vol 666 c25W
68. Mr. Cordle

asked the Minister of Aviation what success he has had in finding a tenant for the de Havilland factory at Christchurch; and whether he will consider breaking up the site into smaller areas with a view to forming a trading estate.

Mr. Amery

I have not yet found an occupant for the de Havilland factory at Christchurch. I am prepared to dispose of it in three sections of about 125,000 sq. ft. each if necessary. It would be unecomonic to break it up into smaller units.
