§ 8. Mr. Pottasked the Secretary of State for War whether he has had a report from the court of inquiry into an explosion of a shell in the occupied area of the parish of Market Lavington on Wednesday, 16th May, 1962; and what steps he is taking to prevent a further incident of this nature.
§ Mr. ProfumoA Board of Inquiry has been held and its findings will shortly reach me. Until I have had the opportunity to examine them I cannot make a statement. I should, however, like to express my regret for the mishap and to confirm that compensation will be paid for any damage done.
