Mr. VaneAt the end of March, 1962, 16 schemes had been formally approved in England and Wales for grant towards certain costs involved in the amalgamation of agricultural holdings. The total acreage covered by these amalgamations is 997. In addition, approval in principle has been given for a further 76 schemes of amalgamation covering 10,529 acres.
