Bromley-Davenportasked the Minister of Health, in view of the time and money involved by rural practitioners in travelling to insured patients over and above that incurred by urban practitioners, when he proposes to introduce the Rural Practitioners Payments Scheme as recommended by the Mileage Report; on what basis it will be operated; whether a long period must elapse between introduction and enforcement in view of the complicated issues involved; and whether he will introduce it immediately so as to reduce the delay.
