§ Mr. Cleaverasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance in how many cases sickness benefit of £2 17s. 6d. a week has been paid to those chronically sick; and in how many instances during 1961 the 35s. per week paid to dependants of those chronically sick was withdrawn on account of the fact that the earnings of the dependants exceeded 40s. per week.
