§ Mr. Priorasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is satisfied that the economies regarding circulars, instructions, etc., for distribution to local authorities have been effective; and whether all the departments under his control, including civil defence, are being systematic in these economies.
§ Mr. RentonI am not aware that there is any lack of economy in regard to communications to local authorities, but if my hon. Friend has any evidence to the contrary I will gladly look into the matter.
