§ Mr. Hare:The average weekly earnings of registered daily workers in the last quarter of 1961 were £15 8s. 11d. In the last quarter of 1951 they were £9 15s. 3d., and in the last quarter of 1942, which is the earliest comparable period available £6 7s. 7d.
