Mr. Masonasked the Minister of Aviation to what extent there is co-operation with the Americans and the 56W United States Air Force on the research and development of a space aircraft; if the United Kingdom is receiving information from the Americans regarding progress now being made with the X-15 aircraft and the Dynosaur programme; and whether he will ask the British aircraft industry to submit design studies.
§ Mr. WoodhouseI have nothing to add to what my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Air said in the Air Estimates debate about our interest in space aircraft. We are receiving information on American progress on the X-15 and Dynosaur programme through our arrangements with them for exchange of technical information.
