§ Mr. HeathThe Central Treaty Organisation Governments agreed in principle last year that CENTO'S military structure should be strengthened by the appointment of a senior General as Commander CENTO Military Staff. The question of making this appointment is still being discussed between the Governments of the CENTO countries.
