§ 61. Mr. Biggs-Davisonasked the Lord Privy Seal what Ministers or officials of overseas Commonwealth countries besides Australia have taken part in formal discussions in Brussels with Ministers or officials of the United Kingdom and of the member states and Commission of the European Economic Community; and what discussions he has had with a view to arrangements being made to co-ordinate approaches from Commonwealth countries to the Community with his negotiations on behalf of the United Kingdom.
§ Mr. GodberNo Commonwealth country besides Australia has taken part in the formal discussions in Brussels or has expressed a desire to do so. The Australian Government were in close consultation with us before making their approach.
