Mr. Hunter

asked the Minister of Labour what was the number of disabled persons registered for employment at employment exchanges at the latest convenient date in March; and what was the comparative figure on the same date in 1961.

pursuant to his reply [OFFICIAL REPORT, 26th March, 1962; Vol. 656, c. 87–8] supplied the following information:

On 19th March, 1962 there were 53,195 registered disabled persons unemployed in Great Britain compared with 49,723 on 20th March, 1961.
