§ 2. Mr. Farrasked the Secretary of State for Air if he will take steps to end the disruption of village life at Bruntingthorpe caused by aircraft noise from the nearby Royal Air Force aerodrome.
§ Mr. AmeryBruntingthorpe village is not far from the airfield and some disturbance from aircraft is I am afraid inevitable. The base commander does all he can to keep it to a minimum. As my hon. Friend knows, the United States Air Force will have left the airfield by the end of September.
