§ Miss PikeInformation which would enable us to give a precise reply to this Question could not be obtained without disproportionate expense: but sample inquiries which we have had made indicate that the average time is of the order of three weeks. Our aim is to settle these matters as quickly as possible and, if my hon. and gallant Friend has in mind any instance in which he thinks there has been undue delay, my right hon. Friend will gladly have inquiries made.
