Mr. Malcolm MacMillan

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list by name the townships in South Uist and Benbecula still without water supply, and those of them which Inverness County Council does not propose to supply until 1965 or later.

3. Glenurquhart 10,000 Filtration scheme; no new areas served.
4. Tarbet 36,670 Tarbet, Oban, Urgha Beg, Urgha Mhor, Carragrich.
5. Spean Bridge 6,000 Filtration scheme; no new areas served.
6. Glendale 78,200 Skinidin, Colbost, Leinish, Totaig, Uig, Borcraig, Galtrigill, Fasach, Glashvin, Feriniquarrie, Lephin, Holmisdal, Pollosgan, Hamaraverin, Borodal, Upper and Lower Millovaig.

The following townships in South Uist and Benbecula are still without a public water supply. Inverness County Council is not yet able to say when schemes to serve these areas can be put in hand.
