§ 51. Mr. R, Harrisasked the Minister of Transport if he is satisfied that proper arrangements have now been made for the provision of suitable alternative accommodation for residents of Winchester Avenue, Heston, Middlesex, in anticipation of the building of the new South Wales radial road.
§ Mr. MarplesArrangements have been made with the Heston and Isleworth Borough Council to rehouse the tenants of those houses in Winchester Avenue which are being acquired without vacant possession. Owner-occupiers normally make their own rehousing arrangements. Twenty-one owner-occupiers have either moved or are about to do so. The remaining thirteen have not asked for any help beyond the market value compensation to which they are entitled.
