Mr. Ronald Bellasked the President of the Board of Trade what action he proposes to take in consequence of the result of the bid by Imperial Chemical Industries Limited for the share capital of Courtaulds Limited, and of the decision of the former company to make its offer unconditional in respect of the 37½ per cent. of the ordinary capital of the latter company; and whether he will make a statement.
