asked the Minister of Transport if he will list the classified road schemes, together with the grant for each, which he hopes to authorise in the financial years 1961–62 to 1963–64 inclusive in London and the other conurbations.

Yes. The schemes costing over £100,000 which are at present included in the programme for the Administrative County of London area and the other conurbations are listed below. Schemes for 1962–63 and 1963–64 in the South-East Lancashire and West Riding conurbations and for 1963–64 in the Tyneside conurbation have not yet
