HC Deb 14 March 1962 vol 655 c155W
16. Mr. Gourlay

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will state the number of representations he has received regarding toll charges on the Forth Road Bridge; and if he will publish the names of the organisations or authorities concerned.

Mr. Maclay

In the past 12 months I have received 13 representations. Most are from Fife, seven being from town councils in the county in support of a resolution by the county council urging that no tolls should be charged; in addition two town councils, a body calling itself the National Forth Road Bridge Committee, and two private individuals have made similar representations.
