asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will publish in the the OFFICIAL REPORT a table showing the variations in the subsidy for council house building since 1945.

In addition a subsidy of £30 a year could be paid at the Minister's discretion to local authorities unable to continue building without charging excessive rents or placing an unreasonably heavy burden on the rates. |
