§ Mr. MarplesThe County Councils of Hampshire, Surrey and Middlesex have accepted my invitation to undertake a preliminary survey of the line of this motorway. This work may take as long as eighteen months. The three councils will produce a joint report, and a draft scheme will be published as soon as this has been fully considered.
