MacphersonI understand that the National Research Development Corporation and the commercial firms collaborating with it are now experimenting with various forms of transport using the hovercraft principle. The largest under construction is a 27-ton craft. I understand also that some new hovercraft are likely to be tried out for commercial use in the near future.
