§ 44. Mr. Shinwellasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will state the original estimate for the construction of the building occupied by the firm of Tudor Crisps in Peterlee, and the actual cost.
Dr. HillThe preliminary estimate was £225,800 excluding the office block. This was increased to £306,000 when the firm's revised requirements, mainly on heating and air conditioning, were made known. Further modifications have since been asked for and the final cost is expected to be about £314,000.
