§ Mr. SoamesThe Border District Forest Consultative Committee was set up in July last year and some progress has been made. It has met four times and will next meet in October. Its function is to provide a regular means of consultation between the Commission and its employees on a variety of questions concerning local working conditions and village amenities. A wide range of these matters have been discussed at the meetings and agreed action taken.
