§ Mr. Rawlinsonasked the Postmaster-General if he will now state when he expects to receive the Report of the Committee on Broadcasting.
§ Mr. BevinsI received the Report on 5th June and expect to have it published on the 27th June.
I cannot yet give a date for the publication of the evidence which the Committee will associate with this Report, but this will be done as soon as practicable.
I should like to take this opportunity of expressing the Government's sense of appreciation to Sir Harry Pilkington and the members of his Committee for the immense public service they have rendered. The Government recognises the exceptional measure of effort which the completion of their arduous and important task has entailed.
