Hyndasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware of the discrimination against small shop-keepers caused by the Hire Purchase and Control of Hiring Orders, 1960, under which the deposit of 20 per cent. required from hire purchasers of television sets is much heavier than the deposit of three months' rent required from those who hire similar sets; and whether he will take steps to bring these charges into line.
