HC Deb 04 June 1962 vol 661 c28W
Mr. Currie

asked the Minister of Transport whether he will consider the provision of traffic light signals at the junction of the exit from the West London Air Terminal with Cromwell Road.

Mr. Marples

The existing exit, which is temporary, could not be signalled without seriously delaying traffic on Cromwell Road. In any case, signals could not be installed much, if at all, before the exit is due to be resited.

The new exit will be brought into use as soon as possible. It will be easier and safer to use, but I am considering whether signal control will be necessary there.
