asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer for what reason a quantity of Capri scooters are being held by Customs officers in Goole Docks; and when they will be released.

These goods are not being held by the Customs. The necessary documents were presented on Friday, 25th May, eight days after importation, the duty was paid the following day and the scooters were released by the Customs on Monday, 28th May.
