32. Mrs. Butlerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs if he will 47W appoint a committee of experts to consider the problems of housing and home-lessness in Greater London, and to report within three months with practical proposals.
§ Mr. CorfieldMy right hon. Friend does not think it would help to add another committee to the existing machinery for dealing with housing problems in the Greater London area. A special committee on homelessness set up by the London County Council have just presented a report to the Council and my right hon. Friend is already in cnosultation with them about further action for dealing with the problem.
