§ Mr. Masonasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science whether under the utilisation of atomic energy agreement between the Atomic Energy Authority and the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics any nuclear equipment and radio-isotopes have so far been exported to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics; and to what extent this is expected to develop.
§ Mr. Denzil FreethSome radio-isotopes have been exported. There have also been substantial exports of scientific instruments, but we do not know to what extent these are used in nuclear research. We hope that there will be a steady development of this trade.
